Travelling from Melbourne and Down South
» Fly direct from Melbourne Airport to Hotham Airport.
» Take the Hume Highway to Wangaratta and then the Great Alpine Road via
Bright and Harrietville, travel time is about 4.5 hours.
» Or take the Princes Highway to Bairnsdale and the Great Alpine Road via
Omeo and Dinner Plain, travel time is about 5.5 hours.
» Coaches depart daily from Melbourne's Spencer Street Coach Terminal and
Tullamarine Airport and travel via the Hume Highway to Wangaratta, Myrtleford,
Bright and Harrietville.
Travelling from Sydney
» Fly direct from Kingsford Smith Airport to Hotham Airport.
» Take the Hume Highway to Albury-Wodonga and follow the snow signs to Yackandandah
then turn off to Myrtleford.
» At Myrtleford turn on to the Great Alpine Road to Bright, then Harrietville
and Mount Hotham.
» For train travellers, the XPT connects with Trekset Coaches at Wangaratta
and Hoys.
Travelling from Queensland
» Fly direct from Brisbane via Newcastle with Sunstate Airlines.
» Take the Newell Highway from Queensland to Tocumwal and Cobram, then onto
Wangaratta and the Great Alpine Road.
Travelling from Adelaide, Perth and Tasmania
» Flights from Adelaide, Perth and Tasmania connect with the Southern Australia
Airlines services to Hotham.
» Overnight luxury airconditioned coaches, complete with video entertainment,
depart from Adelaide twice weekly direct for Hotham.
Driving
It's a beautiful trip by car with Hotham being located at the highest point of
the Great Alpine Road - a classic Australian motoring route. There is sealed road
access from both sides of the mountain, ample overnight parking and unloading
zones outside Zirky's door, with a free village bus service until 3am from car
park to Zirky's.

Flying
Australia's highest commercial airport is just 20 kms from Mt Hotham. Transfers
from the airport can be arranged through reception. Please email Mount Hotham Reservation Centre at accom@hotham.com.au for further information regarding Air Charter Services to Hotham.

Fees
A resort entry fee is applied to all vehicles and passengers of coaches and taxis entering the resort during the snow season. For cars the fee is $27 per day for the duration of your stay and for passengers of buses and taxis the fee is $9 per adult and $5 per child per day for the duration of your stay.
